About Us

I'm Melissa, work-at-home mum to three: boys aged 8 and 4, and my little girl aged 1. I have always been passionate about earth-friendly practices and try to do all I can to live a greener lifestyle. So when I became a mum, cloth nappies were the obvious choice. With my eldest I used flannelette and terry squares and Velcro “pilchers” until one day I discovered a simple fitted nappy pattern on the 'net. I sacrificed some old sheets to sew a few up and I was hooked! While pregnant with my second child, I bought my first nappy pattern and nicer fabrics and sewed an entire nappy stash for him. My fabric and pattern addiction and love of cloth grew, and with the arrival of my baby girl, I decided to become licensed for my favourite patterns and start my own business.

I became approved to sew and sell Fattycakes nappies and developed the Comfy Cover, my very own nappy cover pattern. I recently became the very first Australian licensee for the La-Di-Da nappy pattern, which is fast becoming my favourite pattern of all.

I officially opened this online store in June 2010 and I'm excited to offer instock nappies, custom slots, and other goodies including the awesome Rockin’ Green cloth nappy detergent.
